Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you use our tools, we collect the following:

• Email address — entered when you first open the tool. Used to identify your account and track your session count.
• Session data — information about your activity on the platform, including session counts, first and last seen dates, and the country you are accessing from (detected automatically).
• In-platform responses — if you use interactive features that involve submitting responses or reflections, we may store those inputs along with relevant context such as the topic or prompt associated with them.
• Payment information — if you subscribe to Pro or Platinum, your subscription status, plan type, and expiry date are stored. We do not store card numbers or payment method details. All payment processing is handled by Razorpay.
• Marketing consent — whether you opted in to receive occasional speaking tips and updates.

2. What we do not collect

• We do not upload or store content you generate locally on your device. Any such content stays on your device unless you choose to download or share it.
• We do not access your device's camera or microphone for any purpose beyond features you explicitly initiate.
• We do not sell your data to any third party.
• We do not use your data for advertising.

3. How we use your data

• To identify your account and track your session progress
• To verify your subscription status and unlock paid features
• To send occasional speaking tips and updates if you opted in
• To improve the tool based on aggregate usage patterns
• To provide coaching context if you are a client of Gaurav Mehta

4. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored in Supabase, a secure cloud database hosted on AWS infrastructure. Payment data is stored with Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. Both services comply with industry-standard security practices.

5. How long we keep your data

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you would like your data deleted, email us at hello@gauravmehta.me and we will remove it within 7 business days.

6. Third-party services

Our tools use the following third-party services:

• Razorpay — payment processing. Their privacy policy applies to payment data.
• Supabase — database and user data storage.
• Vercel — hosting and server functions.
• Anthropic Claude API — powers AI-generated content for users on paid plans. Relevant platform data such as prompts or user inputs may be sent to generate responses. No personally identifiable information is sent.
• ipapi.co — detects your country for analytics purposes. No personal data is shared.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of all data we hold about you
• Request correction of any inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw marketing consent at any time

8. Cookies

Our tools use browser Local Storage to remember your email and session count between visits. This is not a cookie but serves a similar purpose. It stays on your device and is not shared with anyone. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

9. Children

Our tools are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it immediately.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the tool after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
